Ce switch 10/100 PoE est un moyen économique pour bénéficier de la technologie Power over Ethernet (PoE). Vous pourrez ainsi alimenter vos matériels compatibles PoE tels que : points d’accès, caméras de surveillance, téléphones IP, directement via les câbles réseaux. Les 8 premiers ports sont compatibles avec la norme PoE IEEE 802.3af et chacun de ces ports peut fournir une puissance de 15.4W pour les périphériques éloignés d’une prise de courant. Ce switch à un mode «Extend» qui permet d’alimenter votre périphérique PoE jusqu’à 250m par l’intermédiaire de votre câble Ethernet ce qui permet d’étendre le réseau là où il n’y a pas de ligne électrique tel que pour un réseau de vidéo-surveillance.
