Alchemilla mollis (Lady's Mantle)

Lady's Mantle, or Achemilla mollis, forms a mound of soft green foliage with sprays of yellow flowers. It is very popular for the beautiful display of foliage, and it is often used in flower arrangements as a filler. It performs well in full sun or partial shade, and it should be trimmed back after blooming to neaten its appearance for the rest of the growing season. The plant is known to self-sow. If this is not desired, deadhead the blooms as they age.
