Product Description Founded in 1985, the predecessor was McLaren Cars, which released the McLaren F1, and McLaren Automotive was relaunched in 2010 as a venture company for the production of sports cars. The 720S was launched in 2017 as a successor to the 650S, which was first released by McLaren Automotive as a supercar. The name 720 refers to the 720 horsepower provided by the 4-liter twin turbo. It features an ultra-lightweight chassis with a carbon monocell structure.
